Everybody might have spent 90 minutes straight in a movie theatre, completely focused without any breaks. But it is so special that on Chanukah, at a time where we remember the Greeks and how their culture tried to make us forget the Torah, our students commit themselves to learning b’retzifus. They make the conscious choice to stop and be completely focused on their learning. It’s a tremendous tikkun for everything that the Greeks sought to destroy. #yeshiva #chanukah #hannukah
