Setters, I can remember the day I told my mother I wanted to play college athletics. I was 10 year old and at my Grandfathers funeral. I can’t explain why it hit me then, but it did..
From there on out, it was a goal of mine and nothing was going to get in my way.
In fact nothing about playing in college made logical sense.
My parents were not former athletes. I didn’t live in a big sports town. I wasn’t the tallest or most talented.
But I can share that dream was put on my heart for me to go after.
So if you have a dream to play in college or your next level that has been put on your heart, I can total relate.
And the good thing is, no one has to understand and it doesn’t have to make logical sense.
You just have to have the courage, grit and determination to go after it, be willing to fall down many times and see what you are made of along the way.
And if a small town girl can go to UCLA who was
#1 in the country my freshman year, you can do it too!!
To make that dream...
