Last week, we spent time with patients at Seattle Children’s and experienced therapeutic gaming in action. It was an awesome opportunity to meet these amazing kids and get to learn about them. Using video games intentionally, the gaming specialists help patients cope with the challenges of hospitalization, building skills and resiliency that can benefit them long after they leave the hospital. The gaming team visits over 200 patients a month and are funded by the generosity of donors.
