Cedric Works, the 2025 4 star edge from Northmont, has become a force to be reckoned with in the GWOC. Last season, he posted 82 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles, all by himself. As seen by some of the highlights here, Cedric can take any game over in an instant.
Cedric compared himself to Isaiah Simmons when it came to how he plays the game, and we couldn’t agree more. It’s also proven by his stats. He thinks of himself as an edge rusher who can also drop back into coverage, with his best skill being able to get to the quarterback. Simmons and Works share a similar frame (both are 6’4 and 220 lbs+), so this comparison is almost perfect.
