Coming to The Grand Palais on February 6 is a stunning 1972 Alpine-Renault A110 1600 S Coupé, originally delivered to Italy in Group 3 specification. Finished in the iconic Bleu Alpine Métallisé, this example has remained in Italy throughout its life, boasting known ownership history and a rich period racing pedigree. According to the Alpine Register, chassis number ‘17808’ competed in numerous events across Italy, its registration changing with each province.⁠ ⁠ The car has undergone two significant restorations, including a comprehensive overhaul in 2011 by Fabio Tarquini’s workshop, which returned it to its original Bleu Alpine Métallisé color.
