Today on Juneteenth, we celebrate the legends of the Negro Leagues by honoring the Palm Beach Hotel League and the Royal Poincianas, a league created by Henry Flagler in the 1920s. Flagler built baseball fields on the hotel grounds for his guests to experience the thrill of professional sports post World War I.
