This week, as we are planning and gearing up towards our 2025 goals, we are also reflecting on our key accomplishments from 2024, starting with our ‘Eduction Is Power’ program! Last year, we increased the number of students we sponsor in Burkina Faso and Malawi and invested further in additional wraparound support to ensure that our Power students have a well-rounded curriculum that extends beyond the classroom.
 Specifically we hosted two major ‘Education Is Power’ camps, attended by 113 students in Malawi, and 56 students in Burkina Faso. The camps included workshops focused on goal-setting, leadership, and healthy relationships, topics rarely broached in the classroom or at home. We also launched a school lunch feeding program in Burkina Faso, and initiated a housing stipend program for students in Malawi who attend schools without dormitories, while also deepening the mentorship support provided to students by our Sonder Project Education Coordinators.
