Happy #FilmmakerFriday y'all ☀️ Today we're featuring @akimabrown33 and @tonya_mccornell, the producer-director duo behind #TheChampion, a short film shooting this summer as part of our #BlackProducersFellowship. Rather than just celebrating parental tenacity and grit on-screen, they're also embracing it on set 🎬 Inspired to #KeepFamiliesInFilm, the two plan to address the issue of intersectional marginalization and exclusion of minority/underrepresented filmmakers as identified by the Academy, as well as parents.
