At a loss for words to properly wrap up this Retreat. Every one of them is special- and this one is somewhere near the very top of the list for me. 110 catchers working & sweating in one building. 45 staff members inspiring & pouring into them. Little moments I’ll remember forever. The blood. The tears. The throw up. The surprise elopement. All of it. I prepare the best I can for months & months leading up to these events & still, every time, my favorite parts are the things I cannot plan. They’re those special moments, the stories, that happen because of what’s happening in the room… Like, 22 year old Hannah from Germany crying in the mirror because for the first time in her life she believes the positive things she’s saying about herself. Like, the puke and rally’ers. Like, my 4 year old daughter on the microphone telling everyone what her name is, how to spell it & then causally asking 400+ people if they had a good Christmas.
