Our hearts go out to everyone in Southern California who is enduring the devastation of wildfires. The loss and destruction are catastrophic, leaving a profound impact on communities, ecosystems, and countless lives. These events remind us of the stark reality of climate change and the urgent need for collective action to address its escalating effects. At Bow Seat, this past year’s theme, Tell Your Climate Story, invited young people to share their personal experiences with the climate crisis. Among the hundreds of submissions we received, many students powerfully depicted the harrowing reality of wildfires. Their artworks are vivid reflections of fear, loss, and resilience, offering a deeply personal lens into the human and environmental toll of these disasters.
