CHS Robotics hosted a competition featuring 29 teams in the Scaccia Auditorium on Saturday as schools from throughout Western New York and beyond took part in the Canisius 2025 VEX V5 High Stakes Qualifying Tournament. About 30 teams from Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Allegany and Madison counties competed to earn a spot in the state competition in March. The highest-finishing Crusaders squad was the eighth-place team of Matt Carver ‘26, Ben Eppolito ‘26 and Cole Frederick ‘26.
