We have friends directly impacted by the fire in California. Our heart goes out to everyone there. Something that’s hard for most people to understand (myself included) is the magnitude. As a New Yorker, I wasn’t familiar with how big the Palisades were until I saw this stat. Of course the acres burned are much greater when you add up all the areas in Los Angeles that have burned, but thought this could help give some perspective for those of us who can’t wrap our brains around it.
