We're proud to announce that MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is the first hospital in Maryland, and at MedStar Health, to perform FDA-approved transcatheter tricuspid valve replacements (TTVR), on patients suffering from life-threatening tricuspid regurgitation. Two patients received new tricuspid valves without the need for conventional open-heart surgery.
