I wrote this song about missing someone and the feeling that everything seems dimmer when they’re not around. I found this vocal sample that said ‘the sun doesn’t shine’ and wrote a sort of call and response using it. I love the idea of that, singing with someone I’ve never met or known.  The video was shot in Whistler, British Columbia and was an amazing experience. It was just myself and director Connor Jalbert, no crew whatsoever, so getting all the gear through the snow to the location and performing the song was definitely challenging.
