Join us as we continue to celebrate Black History Month! Taylor B. is a ballet and dance educator and shares her thoughts on the importance of representation in ballet. “I was given a gift, the gift of dance. Ever since I can remember ballet has always been one of the most important styles to me and now it’s important that I share it with my students, audiences, and fans from all over the world. I represent the brown ballerinas across the globe, those little girls who see me and other brown ballerinas like Misty Copeland, Raven Wilkinson, Michaela DePrince and more, will have the confidence to pursue ballet and know that if we can, so can they. This Jaguars national stage gives me a platform to allow every young girl or boy who wants to reach their dream to know that if you keep that burning passion ignited, you can reach every one of your dreams. One dream at a time.” Celebrate - Educate - Inspire
