Welp, at least I scored a pink cast out of this broken thumb! It ain’t much in the grand scheme of things, but this was my Christmas present to myself almost four weeks ago. Having been through hell and back with a laundry list of injuries and surgeries, I laughed this off at first. But I’ll admit it’s been an annoyance and has thrown me off mentally. But it’s also offered an opportunity to practice the myriad of lessons I’ve learned over the years. I originally was trying not to share it here because sometimes it’s nice to keep some of my life private, especially when I’m in the throes of it. But it’s pretty hard to hide a pink cast and I couldn’t keep my auto-reply up on my email past the holidays. 😜 Thanks to hestragloves for the dope, massive mitten setup.
