New England Patriots The Good: Look, these aren’t the throwbacks you were probably hoping to see but there’s no doubt the legacy uniforms are what I picture when I think of Patriots football. This is a modernized version of those perfect for the new era of Patriots football. The Bad: The switch to their previous eras color rush uniforms felt like a cop out and I feel like they never even really tried to redesign new uniforms. The shoulder stripes, although they match the throwbacks, felt bulky and obnoxious to me. The Ugly: There’s really one thing that’s held back their modern set for most of its time. Refusal to wear grey/silver pants consistently up until recent.
