my sister recorded our family non stop when she got her first camera. as her older sister, naturally i was annoyed most times, but not my mom. the camera loved her & she loved it. i’m thankful that my mom nurtured this seed of creativity in my sister because it resulted in us having so much footage of our family that i’ll cherish forever. this particular clip is from a documentary that my sister made of my mom, that nearly brings me to tears each time i watch. with #nationalgriefawarenessday having been on 8/30 and my birthday (as well as my mom’s birth-day) on 8/25, i felt it appropriate to share 💛🕊️
