35 million streams on HOME 🏠 I’m sitting here on my honeymoon with the man I call home .. thinking about all the different lives and places I’ve called home. Home is such a wild and vulnerable concept. I ran away from home when I was younger - trying to find a place or people that would understand me. I now know home is about so much more than the place you’re born or the family you’re born into … it is so much about the space that you create. The world that you inhabit. For queer people - or anyone who is “different” from the rest - it’s something you are forced to find. It can feel like the world is closing in on you until you let yourself be seen.
