Come behind-the-scenes as we construct Antarctica's first ever Wellness Dome! The dedicated Whichaway operations team had to wait for the perfect weather window to piece together this intricate geometric puzzle. A day with no wind was vital to ensure each piece fell perfectly in place. Did you know that each hexagonal piece needs to match perfectly to a corresponding number on the next hexagonal piece. A true puzzle for the team on the ground - which added some pressure to get it up before the wind forced any change in plans. The completed structure of the dome is specifically engineered to withstand Antarctica’s tough conditions while providing a cocoon of warmth and tranquillity to those inside.
