After weeks of protests, two lawsuits by the Center, and thousands of letters from our supporters urging the federal government to step in, construction of Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s illegal shipping container wall in the Coronado National Forest has now ended. Gov. Ducey started building this wall along the Arizona-Mexico border for “national security.” The stunt destroyed habitat and blocked migratory paths for endangered jaguars and ocelots. Only a third of his planned 10-mile wall was built, but what remains must now be removed. We’ll keep pressure on to make sure it is.
