So when I found a flight to Iceland for $650—almost the same as flying to #Detroit for detroitlionsnfl opening weekend—I couldn’t resist. We flew to Iceland first, explored its beauty, then enjoyed a 20-hour layover in Detroit for the game. Bonus? Detroit is a delta hub with a non-stop flight to Iceland. Perfect for #Lions fans who love adventure, right?? 🤭 And since we had just as much fun celebrating outside the stadium (tickets were $400++ for opening day!), I might argue the cost of tickets balanced out our Iceland visit—van camping, and cooking our own meals.
