Introducing the newest member of our team, Avery Kurman! Avery is a first-year from Galloway, New Jersey! She is majoring in Elementary/Special Education with minors in Leadership and Coaching! Why did you choose Marietta?: I chose Marietta because they were so welcoming and really showed that they care about their athletes beyond just their academics. The team and school have such nice people and it felt like a place were I would be happy to be able to grow and learn as a student athlete. Why are you excited to join mcwr?: I’m excited to be part of the women’s rowing team at Marietta because they are such a great group of girls and I’m so excited to be apart of such a supportive team to continue my rowing career at the college level. A fun fact about Avery is that she is a twin! We are all very excited to have her join our team!!
