Multnomah County officials said vandals broke the glass of nearly three dozen windows and two doors at the county elections office in Southeast Portland early Monday. The office was also tagged with graffiti.
The incident happened just before 2 a.m. at the Multnomah County Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building, county spokesperson Denis Theriault said. In total, 33 windows and the glass in two doors were damaged, he said. No one was inside the building and the interior doesn’t appear to be damaged, he added.
