Over 100 high school students participated in the Student Design Charrette during Interior Design Week, showcasing the field as a meaningful career path, which can engage a range of skills and abilities. This Charrette is part of how ARIDO worked on our #FosteringCommunity goal in 2022. Bringing high school and Bachelor of Interior Design students together in this event created links between these two groups, offered an opportunity for the BID students to be educators and experts, and showed the high school students that #InteriorDesign is a viable career path, with multiple ways to make it rewarding. These events and engagements are how we bring others into the ARIDO community and provide an inclusive space that is welcoming to all.
