United MegaCare hosted its We CARE Thanksgiving Drive-thru, and honestly, I wasn’t going to sign up because of my pride. As a Social Worker, I’m used to solving everyone else’s problems—housing, food, financial resources—you name it. But now, I find myself in the same position as many of my former clients: an unemployed single mom trying to make ends meet.
I’m extremely humbled to say the least, BUT I’m so grateful for my church and
@unitedmegacare for everything they do for the community and worldwide. They are truly doing God’s work and exemplifying His love for His children. ❤️
If you’re struggling, know this: There’s no shame in accepting help. God places people and resources in our path for a reason. 🙏🏾
What are you grateful for this season?
