Inspired by the book Flat Stanley and their "How We Organize Ourselves" unit, our second graders embarked on an exciting project to connect with their DwightSchoolLondon art buddies! 🌍✉️ In art class, students created flat, 2D self-portraits, just like Flat Stanley. They then took pictures of their self-portraits at special locations around New York City to share a meaningful part of their lives with their London friends. Letters from our NY students are now stamped and addressed, ready to travel across the pond!
