We like staying warm THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS much! Here are a couple tips to keep a smile on your face during this extremely cold weather moving into Grand County! 1) Layer up! It's okay to look like a marshmallow while you're skiing. Wearing base layers and other insulated clothing will be more likely to keep you warm on the mountain. 2) Cover exposed skin! Using gaiters, balaclavas, gloves, and goggles will keep your skin from getting constantly hit with the cold air. Pro tip: put Vaseline on your nose! 3) Take breaks if you need to! There's hot chocolate and coffee in First Chair Cafe, or, if you need something stronger, maybe a Hot Toddy from Bluebird bistro to warm you up from the inside out.
