Bethel Baptist Church in Orange County, Virginia traces its roots to Emancipation, when Edna Lewis’s grandfather helped establish it. Host Deb Freeman (audiophile) visits Bethel on the occasion of Homecoming. Miss Lewis returned most summers, and helped to prepare a celebratory lunch – a tradition that continues today.
