March On is delighted to announce Rashad Robinson as a featured speaker during the “A Burning House” MLK and the American Experience collaborative event with WNYC and the ApolloTheater! Rashad Robinson, a longtime friend of our festival, is the former President of Color Of Change, a racial justice organization with more than 7 million members who demonstrate the power of Black communities every single day. Color Of Change uses innovative strategies to bring about lasting change in systems and sectors that affect Black people’s lives. “A Burning House” will explore the complexities of belonging, justice, and collective responsibility in our contemporary moment. The event brings together distinguished scholars, faith leaders, artists, and public intellectuals for substantive dialogue about building an equitable society that truly embraces all its members.
