Happy Founders’ Day to the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.! Zeta Phi Beta was founded on Howard University’s campus on January 16, 1920 by five Black collegiate women who had a vision of invoking positive change, raising consciousness of their people and encouraging academic excellence. Today, the Alpha Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta continues to propel their founders’ vision through service, charity, scholarship, civil and cultural endeavors and sisterhood.
