Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ’48—a Morehouse Man who used his voice fearlessly, even addressing the President of the United States, to demand justice and equality for all. After developing a relationship with President Lyndon B. Johnson, King utilized his platform and influence to motivate the President to sign the Civil Rights Act of 1964, legally granting equal rights to all in the United States.⁠ ⁠ On this #MLKDay, we challenge you to embrace the power of your voice.
