After my NFL career, I found myself as a lunch lady at an elementary school. Here are five valuable lessons I learned about kids and food:
Kids eat with their eyes first! Make the display colorful, and hide nutritious foods in something familiar like tortillas or buns.
Hungry kids are more adventurous eaters. Snack time too close to lunch? Expect picky eaters.
Attitude is everything. One kid’s opinion can sway the next ten in line. Encourage positivity!
Kids love rice cooked in bone broth—great for their gut health.
