I weighed 330 pounds during my 12 years in the NFL. After I was done I knew I had to make a change for my health and longevity. Since then, I have lost 70 pounds by making smarter food choices, like limiting fried foods (looking at you tortilla chips you sneaky delicious bastards). Fried foods are packed with empty calories and lack significant fiber and protein. This makes it easy to overeat without feeling full, which can quickly derail weight loss efforts.
