We love this family owned hidden gem in the West Village. Owned by brother sister duo Aida & Fernando, this restaurant’s story started three generations ago on the island of Ponza, by their grandfather, Ferdinando. He came to America as a chef in 1955 and opened his first restaurant in the Bronx. Then their father Giuseppe, continued in his footsteps to become the executive chef @ the Rainbow Room and countless other New York restaurants. Aida & Fernando continue their legacy with ferdi_nyc .
Ferdi offers a great weekday prix fixe menu featuring 3 courses, priced at $38pp.
They also have their Italian Sunday Supper series which includes:
A five course dinner with a bottle of wine, priced at $68 for two, which is family style, with classics such as their spaghetti primavera, chicken parm & their caprese salad. You can also pick your choice of pinot, cabernet, rose or prosecco to go with. 🍝✨
