KNIGHTS 60, COUGARS 42: Halfway through the district season, thanks to Friday’s win at LASA, the boys varsity basketball team is still perfect at 6-0. The Knights will hit rewind on the District 24-5A schedule and play all the district teams again in the same order in the second half of the season, with the only difference being which team hosts the game. The rematch between Crockett and Mac was supposed to go down Tuesday, but with school being canceled, the varsity game has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crockett. In the first meeting between the two teams on Dec. 20, Senior Luke Dunham led a balanced offensive attack, scoring 15 points. Senior teammate George Brode was right behind him with 14 points, and junior Ethan Plummer added 11. Senior George McCoy had a relatively quiet offensive night with seven.
