To continue Joan’s legacy, the Joan Healey Award has been established. This award supports a first-year Women’s Varsity Basketball student-athlete in good academic standing who successfully balances academics and varsity commitments. Donations to this award honours Joan’s legacy at Centennial while addressing student-athletes’ financial needs, empowering those making a positive impact in the community. Darcy, Colts Athletic Director, is matching every dollar contributed to the Joan Healey Award, up to $500, doubling the impact of each donation and advancing Joan’s passion for supporting student-athletes.
