Frames from the Lake County Invitational at Carmel Cathloic High School Shooting a gymnastics meet is very similar to a track and field event, with lots of events happening all at the same time with multiple teams at each event. You're not going to shoot it all - but it's best to try and capture a few of each team from each discipline. My goal with the gallery was to try and grab some of the emotion and focus of each athlete while they're "in action". Gymnasts have incredible air-awareness and focus that is aspirational to mere mortals who sometimes trip walking UP the stairs (...it's me, I'm mortal).
