PHI Air Medical is stepping up to the plate and opening up their services to Pickens County. The service is similar to a flying ICU. If you ever need to be airlifted after an emergency this service would be able to assist. There is a membership fee of $65 a year. If you have a membership and you get airlifted, you won't have to pay anything out of pocket to PHI. If you do not have the membership you still have access to the service but could experience a high bill depending on your insurance.
