Our brand development for the gsogargoyles , came quickly so we had to come to a fast consensus on “the pose” that we all wanted. Luckily there is a general rule for that brooding gargoyle on top of a building pose which sped up the process. Once that was figured out there were a lot of “what if’s” we had to sort out quickly like how angry the face is, is he straight on, colors where, how big are the wings, how simple/detailed do we want everything, etc . In the end it came together really well with us designing the overall shape to fit inside of a shield shape to include a text lockup.
