On Oct. 31, the New Trier High School Student Council hosted its annual Halloween event, “The Spooky Scrounge,” during lunch periods. Students in attendance played games and ate candy and other food. Student Council and other clubs who signed up participated in the Spooky Scrounge, each having their own table to give out food or host an activity. As I walked through the Spooky Scrounge that chilling afternoon, I enjoyed interacting with the fun activities and seeing every club’s unique table. But, for those who missed the Spooky Scrounge, want to relive the fun memories, or simply need entertainment, please look through this photo essay. Welcome to the Spooky Scrounge. Staff Reporter Lorelei Hansen photographed and reported the story.
