“First Graders had a great time on their field trip to The Denver Art Museum! They explored the Wild Things exhibit and learned about Maurice Sendak’s journey to becoming a talented author, illustrator, and artist. A special highlight for students was the Art Emergency play, where actors told 3 different versions of Sendak’s inspiration. It was engaging, fun and hilarious! 1st graders also got to see all the different versions and languages that Where the Wild Things has been written in, including the Hebrew version! #denverjds #1stgrade #denverartmuseum
