Chasing adventure, one winding road at a time. We pulled into this forest pull-off just outside the Mt. Baker Recreation Area after sunset, hoping to snag a good spot. A few sites were already taken, and as we ventured further, the road started to look a little sketchy. But we wanted to get as close to Mt. Baker as possible since the roads were set to close early the next morning. The goal? Catch the sunrise at Artist Point and hit the Chains Lake Loop Trail-will get around to posting those soon! Sometimes, the best part of the journey is finding that perfect, quiet place to call home for the night.
