For Lucy Lee ’25, the keyword in her healthcare internship is CARE. At Oberlin, Lucy has a major in neuroscience, minor in anthropology, concentration in global health, and is on the varsity swim and dive team. This past summer, while she was conducting research and learning at the Johns Hopkins Multiple Sclerosis Center, she was also gaining an understanding of how doctors can truly provide for their patients and just how much care is actually involved.
“I think that is the ultimate goal, to become such a great provider and someone that your patients trust so much…” she says, reflecting on the physician that she followed.
