In June, Oberlin welcomed over 320 students, staff, faculty, speakers, alumni, and partners from 91 institutions for the Bonner Foundation’s 2024 Summer Leadership Institute. This year’s theme was “Seeds and Sounds of Service,” reflecting Oberlin’s commitment to inclusive community engagement, focusing on underrepresented fields within the arts and sciences. The “seeds” represent Oberlin’s dedication to planting the seeds of positive change through environmental stewardship, STEM education, and research.
