The power of the pen! Over the weekend, alums and current students gathered on campus to celebrate 150 years of Oberlin’s student-run newspaper, The Oberlin Review (@ocreview). 🗞️ Current editors shared the results of their Winter Term project—researching and creating a special issue of the newspaper with notable stories from the archives—and discussed the ins and outs of producing a weekly paper. Later, Peter Baker ’88, Emily Nussbaum ’88, and Sonia Shah ’90 held a lively, inspiring conversation about writing, their careers, and Oberlin’s impact on their lives. Alums also had a chance to visit the Review offices, view a special library exhibit about the newspaper, and meet and network with aspiring Obie journalists. 📝 (📸: John Seyfried) @emilynussbaum@soniashahauthor
