The Oberlin College Pottery Co-Op is hosting its annual Empty Mugs Pottery and Holiday Extravaganza on Saturday, December 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at First Church. Empty Mugs is an annual community event that serves as a fundraiser for Oberlin Community Services, a holiday concert, and a pottery market. There will be performances from Oberlin's Brass Chamber Groups starting at 4:30, a live auction for pieces with the opportunity to win gift cards from local restaurants, including Blue Rooster Bakery and Bistro Bella Luna, and live folk music during the open pottery market. Come to enjoy a yummy seasonal drink from a beautiful handmade mug while knocking out your holiday shopping and helping to make a difference in the community.
