William Robinson has won multitudinous landmark legal cases and still manages to find time to give back. William Robinson '63 is an emeritus professor of law, a civil rights lawyer, and current honorary Oberlin trustee. He established the William L. Robinson Scholarship in 2011, offering full tuition at Oberlin College to eligible students from Oberlin High School. His litigation work has been pivotal in employment discrimination and voting rights cases, and he holds the distinction of being the inaugural dean of the University of the District of Columbia School of Law.
