Grammy Award-winning guitarist and singer Chris Eldridge ’04 returned to Oberlin earlier this month for a brief residency that included a workshop at the Cat in the Cream. Two student bands prepared original compositions and their takes on the classics. Eldridge, who is a member of Punch Brothers and frequently performs in a duo with fellow guitarist Julian Lage, offered feedback and urged the student performers to push their limits in performance.
