Noah Hamaoui, an environmental studies and geosciences dual major, is interning in Aachen, Germany, this summer. She is researching the risks of climate change on local agriculture in the Rhenish Mining Area through RWTH Aachen University. Noah captured some photos showcasing the beauty of the region during the first few weeks of her internship. Noah stopped to grab a selfie with some of her fellow researchers along the Rhine during a trip to Schloss Drachenburg. Noah and her friends also visited Monschau, Germany, a town where many of the buildings have remained since the 16th century, giving the entire town a medieval feel.
